Good morning everyone.
Well it has been a full and interesting year for sure! Starting with the announcement of the sale of NB Power and leading into the formation of the People’s Alliance and the election, the intensity seemed to grow and grow.
Certainly the protest against the sale of NB Power was a “success” in that it led to clear chastisement of the Liberal Party of New Brunswick and gave a clear warning to the new Conservative government that they must now take the people into their confidence. There is little doubt that PANB’s early stand on principles led to major concessions by the PCs in their platform. It is, however, unfortunate that New Brunswickers don’t understand the importance of the third party in the middle. I guess getting that message out will be the task over the next 4 years.
What the future holds for PANB remains to be seen. But for me, it is time to get back to my life and play catchup once more. There are financial issues to resolve, a book that was published but not promoted, websites that need work and house renovations to finish …. lots to do that is for sure. It is for these reasons that I will be resigning as PANB President, webmaster, and “bottle washer”.
I have asked Carl Bainbridge, Second Vice President to take the role of Acting President, Webmaster, and bottle washer until the party meeting on October 24th when the future direction of the Board of Directors and the Party will be sketched out.
To those who are remaining in the battle, I wish you much luck. It has been an interesting road we traveled and I will follow your future with interest. If you want to follow my work you might like to visit with me at:

I will be having plenty to say in these local and regional venues.
Keep the dream alive.
